3. Choose a membership plan

Access Frontdoor with a free, Basic membership. Explore Prime & Premium for more video chats, vetted Pros, and exclusive discounts. Compare plans.  

How to get ready for video chat

Frontdoor’s home repair Experts are just a video chat away. Here’s how you can prepare for a call:

  1. First thing’s first: grab your phone and open the Frontdoor app.
  2. Be at the site of the issue so the Expert can see what you’re seeing.
  3. Have a toolbox handy in case you have to complete a repair.
  4. Safety first. You may be asked to turn off power for electrical issues and water for plumbing
  5. Leave jitters at the door (it’s not a first date!). We know you may not know what you’re doing, and that’s why we’re here.
