Zaha Hadid's Miami Skyscraper Is a Showstopper

The superstar architect is pulling out all the stops for this project: modern exoskeleton design, a rooftop helipad and a sky pool with underwater views of Miami.

Miami will soon have a tower for the future. We announced last March that Zaha Hadid would design a residential tower with extraordinary amenities in downtown. And now we're looking a little closer at her designs and the new renderings for One Thousand Museum.

Towering at 706 feet, the development marks the architect's first skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere. The building will rise across from Museum Park, the future home of the Perez Art Museum Miami, and the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science.

Scheduled to break ground in the spring of 2014, luxury condos are already on sale starting at $5 million. Some full-floor residences are expected to fetch close to $45 million.
