77 12th Street Opens for Business

A new Midtown luxury high-rise welcomes its residents home.

Late last month the newest luxury high-rise carving the Midtown skyline welcomed it first residents home. Located at the corner of Crescent Avenue and 12th, 77 12th Street is made up of 330 one- and two-bedroom units that go for $1,485 to $2,950 a month. This translates into one of the higher price tags in the city at roughly $2 a square foot.

Busy and well-heeled Atlantans may find the features and amenities worth that chunk of change. First of all, everything is brand spanking new – the Energy Star stainless steel appliances, the granite countertops and tile backsplashes and the hardwood floors. And you’ll be the first to use it. Secondly, there’s a concierge, secured and covered parking and it’s dog friendly.

Next comes the sparkling and shiny shared facilities: a pool with wet bar and HD television screens and cabana lounges, a game room and lounge area, a theater, and the whole facility has wireless capabilities.

If that doesn’t sell you then perhaps the stellar, state-of-the-art workout facility will. There are even chill-out yoga sessions of the expansion patio. What sold us were the 360-degree views of the breathtaking Atlanta skyline.

About a third of the units are already spoken for but as merchants in the 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail area are scooping up space, we expect units to go fast. Restaurants including Tabla, Fig Jam, Taco Diner, and BurgerFi are projecting a retail grand opening in the fall.
