Who knew you could live like French royalty just an hour outside of Manhattan?
The real Petit Trianon was constructed in the 18th century for Louis
XV’s mistress, Madame de Pompadour. When Louis XVI took the throne in
1774, he gave the chateau to his 19-year-old bride, Marie Antoinette,
for her exclusive use. The young queen often used the building to escape
from the pressures of court life. This entryway could easily double as a high-end store with its china in glass cases and marble staircase.
