Tour the Vampire Academy
Director Mark Waters searched the globe for just the right locations for the popular Y.A. series to make its big screen debut.
The Vampire Academy Had to Shine Day or Night
The Gothic-style location had to look good in day shoots as well as night shoots, because the good "Moroi" vampires, like Lissa on the right, are not adversely affected by the sun -- it simply annoys them, and they prefer shade. Guardian "Dhampirs" like Rose on the left, are half human, half vamp, and thrive anywhere.
