Local government agencies and nonprofits are working together to fill in the gaps in construction on the "greenway" along the Miami River in Florida. Soon visitors will be able to stroll along clearly marked paths from Biscayne Bay to the Dolphin Expressway.
On the south side of the Miami River's mouth, a section of the river walk wraps around the new park at the Miami Circle, an archeological site commemorating the early settlement of the Tequesta Indians.
