The legendary actress' longtime estate is on the market for $30 million. See the elegant spaces and spectacular views this home has to offer.
One of her greatest passions was this waterfront estate in Old Saybrook, Conn., which was built by her family in 1913. The original residence was destroyed in 1938 during the Great New England Hurricane, but the actress rebuilt the home within a year and lived there until 2003 when she died at age 96. The property is now back on the market, divided into three separate lots; the parcel with the home is priced at $18 million, while the entire 3.5-acre estate can be purchased for $28 million. In March 2012, the asking price of Katharine Hepburn's former estate was increased to $30 million.
