Set on 275 acres, this storied stone estate was built in the 1920s by Dr. Walton Martin and his wife, Charlotte Bronson Hunnewell Martin. Known as Hidden Valley Castle, the home was designed by architect Edward C. Dean in the storybook style which enjoyed a brief popularity during that era. The Martins had traveled extensively throughout Europe and collected artifacts and materials that were included in the construction.
