The Waldo Theatre

Waldoboro, Maine The Waldo Theatre

Designed with an art deco interior and a Greek revival-style facade, the Waldo Theatre served as Waldoboro's premier motion picture cinema from 1937 to 1957. After more than 30 years of disuse, the theater was renovated with new lighting and sound systems and a new stage. Today, the Waldo offers a variety of live musical and theatrical performances.
