A couture children’s wedding apparel designer turned the house of her dreams in Orlando into the House of Turquoise.
When Marg Hyland moved to Orlando, she dreamed of a lakefront property where she could incorporate hues of blue into her interior design scheme. A fashion designer with a love of Key West-style homes, she incorporated tropical prints with shades of turquoise and lime green throughout the bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces. Her favorite room of the house is a screened-in outdoor living area with views of the lake and a cozy brick fireplace. The home is filled with eclectic treasures from auctions, antique heirlooms and refurbished furniture pieces that blend in with the turquoise theme.
