"Secret Spaces Atop Chicago" - Chicago Board of Trade, East View

East view from the Board of Trade Building. Just to the right, in the bottom corner, is the rooftop prison exercise yard of the triangular Metropolitan Correctional Center where you can catch inmates in orange jumpsuits shooting hoops or working out. Trivia: Built in 1930 and designed by Holabird and Root, the landmark, one of the most brilliant to light the Chicago skyline, served as headquarters for Wayne Enterprises in Batman Begins.
