"Secret Spaces Atop Chicago" - A View from the Prudential Building

Vintage photo and panoramic views from the place to be seen: Stouffer's Top of the Rock in Naess and Murphy's 41-story Prudential Building (now One Prudential Plaza). Built in 1955, it was the first new skyscraper added to Chicago's skyline since 1934. Quite the sensation. It had the fastest elevators in the world, the tallest escalators, 2,617 windows and a 41st-floor observatory that attracted over eight million visitors.
