New Orleans, Louisiana Preservation Hall

This historic music venue has been entertaining New Orleans for 50 years. What was once built as a private residence in 1750, the hall has since been used as an inn, art gallery, tavern and photo studio. Preservation Hall opened its doors as a music venue in 1961, as a place to preserve classic New Orleans jazz. Today the hall features older and younger jazz musicians alike, sharing the stage and a rich piece of the Big Easy's culture.
