Situated on 20 acres of land overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee, this
historic residence was built by railroad magnate Benjamin Ames Kimball
between 1897 and 1899. Benjamin died in 1919, but the castle remained
in the Kimball family until 1960 when Charlotte Kimball, Benjamin's
daughter-in-law, died. The castle is currently privately owned.
