Salt Lake City, Utah Mormon Tabernacle Choir

The Grammy Award and Emmy Award-winning Mormon Tabernacle Choir is part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and is made up of 360 volunteers. Men and women, who are members of and in good standing with the LDS Church, volunteer to be a part of the world-famous group. The choir was founded in August 1847, and since July 15, 1929, has performed a weekly radio broadcast called Music and the Spoken Word, one of the longest-running continuous radio network broadcasts in the world.
