Jacksonville, Florida Main Street Bridge

Officially named the John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge, this bridge crossing the St. Johns River is one of downtown Jacksonville's most prominent landmarks. The 1,900-foot-long bridge opened in 1941 and was named for Mayor John T. Alsop Jr. in 1957.
