Perched on enormous rocks high in the mountains, this dramatic estate is the most expensive home for sale in Stowe, listed at $16 million. Not only can you admire Vermont's majestic Green Mountains from this mansion, but on some mornings, you can even look down on the clouds below -- hence the home's nickname, "Above the Clouds." Spread over 18,000 square feet, the three-story estate features a game room, a library, a studio-quality home theater and a 23' x 38' indoor pool, among other sumptuous amenities. Despite the opulence of the home, the beautiful surroundings always take center stage. Natural, local materials were used whenever possible during construction, and large windows highlight the incredible mountain and valley views throughout the home.
