The Hyatt Regency Atlanta, with its iconic blue dome, has been one of the city's most recognizable landmarks since its grand opening on Peachtree Street in 1967. In 2011 the hotel completed a historic $65 million renovation that included the Polaris lounge.
Architect John Portman designed the 22-story Hyatt Regency, which was the world’s first atrium-centered hotel.
