Georgia's Places in Peril, 2014: Kolb Street House

Built before the Civil War in 1850, the Kolb Street house in Madison sits on 900 acres. The Greek Revival house features a combination of Georgian and I-House floor plans on the first and second floors. During 1862 the house was used as a prison camp for Union soldiers and then as a Confederate hospital.
