Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation Ramble, Lottie Moon House

Built in 1856, the Lottie Moon House was originally the First Baptist Church of Cartersville. It was severely damaged during the Civil War and then completed destroyed by a tornado. Rebuilt in the 1870's as a school for girls, missionary Lottie Moon once taught there before her mission work took her to China. The structure was also used as a bed & breakfast and apartments
