At the front of the home, a bump-out foyer showcases the original stairway, leaded glass windows and a double-thick barricade door. Originally built in 1665 in Billerica, Mass., this Pilgrim-era saltbox garrison home is believed to be one of the oldest homes in the country. It was dismantled and reconstructed board-by-board in Gilmanton, N.H.
