Fallingwater: Examples of Modern Architecture
Built between 1936 and 1939, Frank Lloyd Wright's
Fallingwater is one of the most famed examples of modern architecture in
America. Constructed atop a rushing waterfall, the home's cantilevered
balconies and rough-hewn stone
materials offer a breathtaking organic interplay with the natural
surroundings. Fallingwater was built using technologically advanced
materials for the time, including concrete and steel.
