Elvis Presley's Former Beverly Hills Home
The ultimate piece of Elvis memorabilia is up for sale: a Beverly Hills estate once owned by the rock and roll legend. The "Heartbreak Hotel" singer purchased the property for $400,000 in 1967 -- the year he married Priscilla -- and the couple shared the home until they separated in 1972. Set in the celebrity-packed neighborhood of Trousdale Estates, the recently remodeled residence features a new kitchen with professional appliances, a new laundry room and a resurfaced pool and spa. Each room of the 5,367-square-foot home -- from the formal living room with fireplace to the spacious master suite with generous closet space -- overlooks panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline and the Pacific Ocean. Elvis Presley's former estate sold for $9.8 million in December 2012. The buyer was Hard Rock Cafe founder Peter Morton.
