Museum of Science and Industry: 19th Century Beaux-Arts
The Museum of Science and Industry was originally built with its Beaux-Arts
style in 1893 as The Palace of Fine Arts for the World's Columbian Exposition.
The Museum moved into the building in 1926 after a $5
million restoration project. The original Beaux-Arts exterior was kept, but the
