From one-of-a-kind furniture to a fun new take on the classic stereo boombox, see which home products celebs loved at the 56th Grammy Awards Gift Lounge.
At the Distinctive Assets gifting suite, the official backstage lounge for The Grammys, Glee’s Dot Marie Jones (middle) chatted with Rachel Ropp, president of Revamp & Revive. The Missouri-based eco-friendly designer provided the 20 natural wood tables the vendors used to display their items at the lounge.
Jones is a big fan of making her own wood furniture. “I want to make my own solid wood dining room table. I’m tired of all the particle board that’s out there – everything is made so cheap,” she said. “I grew up in a small town in Northern California, and so to make something interesting – well, that’s what we would have done there. And we’d do a lot of gardening there too, which I really enjoy doing at my home.”
