Paula Deen in the Living Room

Paula Deen has stayed true to her Southern roots. The Food Network star grew up in Albany, Ga., and later moved to Savannah, where she opened her first restaurant in 1996. Two years ago, Paula and her husband built a new home for themselves on Wilmington Island, an affluent area just outside of Savannah. The French Caribbean-style house sits on a four-acre riverfront property, complete with a dockhouse and two guest cottages. "I still can't believe I live here," Paula says.
