What is that cube? It's Mexico City–based Rojkind Arquitectos idea for the Liverpool Department Store, a 3-D, hexagonal, honeycomb facade made of steel-framed aluminum and fiberglass. Ingeniously, the "cavities" are tailor-made and slotted for different activities, i.e., shopping, video production. There's dining areas -- full blown restaurants -- rest rooms and other retail stores for this whimsical space.
