Matt Drudge Buys More Rural Miami Land

The Internet media kingpin has expanded his secluded South Florida compound by 4.7 acres.

Drudge Report creator Matt Drudge is collecting farmland, complete with organic fruit trees. He picked up another piece of rural Miami real estate for $700,000 in cash.

He already owns the $1.45 million parcel next door, which includes a 6,500-square-foot home, located near a strawberry farm in the Redlands neighborhood. Once he combines his current estate with his neighbor's land, the media mogul will have amassed quite the compound, including 10 acres, two homes and a combined 10,000 square feet of living space. 

It's no secret that the owner of the Drudge Report has been attempting to live a life of seclusion, out of the public eye. According to Zillow, he wanted to expand his estate rather than watch another buyer install horse stables or a pool.
