Atlantans want their HGTV. Guess what? We want you, too.

Jonathan and Drew Scott are The Property Brothers.

At least twice a week a friend or acquaintance asks us how they can be on HGTV. This is usually followed by an elaborate description of a dreadful and dated bathroom or a cramped kitchen. We’re always happy to listen; it’s what we do. We’re even happier, however, when we can tell you that we’re casting in your area. So, Metro Atlanta people, here’s your chance!

The Property Brothers

Jonathan and Drew Scott are hitting Hotlanta and they’re bringing their mad skills (and hair products) with them. In a nutshell, this is how the show typically goes down: A charming couple describes their dream home to the brothers and then tells them their maximum budget. Voila! The brothers find a home, but, of course, charming couple cannot afford said home. Cue the sad trombone – wa wa wa wa waaaaa

The typical response: “Why did they even show us this property?”

Wait for it — Drew will find them a property, a fixer-upper, that they can afford, and Jonathan along with his crew and awesome tool belt will whip it into shape. The transformations are amazing, and the brothers are both witty and easy on the eyes. So, if you’re looking for a ranch in Roswell, a bungalow in Buckhead or a mansion in Marietta, the brothers will make it happen. For more information, go here

Elbow Room

Is your teen tired of sharing a space with the tweens or did Grandma and her cats move into the basement? Host Chip Wade is seeking families with growing pains and/or ill-functioning spaces in the North Atlanta area in need of help. Talk to Chip: He wants to know, and the more family details, the better. And photos — make sure you have lots of photos. Follow the instructions on the show’s website carefully and it could be your family getting the rumpus room of a lifetime.

Property Virgins

Attention shoppers! First-time homebuyers in Atlanta and Savannah, Property Virgins host Egypt Sherrod wants to help you buy a home. As a real estate expert and all-around nice person, Egypt’s goal is to help take away some of the pain and heartache that can accompany a real estate transaction. We like how she lets couples tour the property without her, which sometimes elicits surprisingly candid and funny remarks. House Hunters/House Hunters International

Lastly, we just wouldn’t be HGTV if we didn’t include House Hunters and House Hunters International in this roundup. Whether you’re moving to Rome, Ga., or Rome, Italy, we can help find you the perfect abode. Be warned: You probably won't get to meet the lady with the incredibly soothing voice who narrates the show.
