Buying a home with a friend is different from buying with a spouse or life partner in that:
- You might not necessarily want to live in same living space with each other,
- You probably haven't had to make any major decisions of this magnitude (like getting married or having children) together before now, and
- You are not as likely to have the same tastes and habits as you are with someone who already lives with you.
