If you’re looking in Manhattan south of 116th Street, you’re most likely to land a one- or two-bedroom home — with a view or balcony, if you’re lucky. Head to Brooklyn and you’ll of course get more bang for your buck, perhaps even an entire house to yourself. We scoped out the market and found seven homes for around $1 million, from a Riverside Drive penthouse with Hudson River views to a charming five-bedroom house in Ditmas Park.
