Visit the 6th Annual Holiday House NYC
25 top interior designers will transform an Upper East Side mansion into a showroom wonderland.
Looking for a little home design inspiration for the holidays? Mark the Holiday House NYC on your calendar. The annual fundraiser, now in its sixth year, will take place at the Academy Mansion (2 East 63rd St.) from Nov. 21 to Dec. 18. If you've never been to a Holiday House NYC, the concept is simple: 25 top interior designers will each design their own room from scratch, with various holiday themes as their muse. Ticket-holders will then get to wander through each showroom and gawk at the creations. Bring a notepad and snap some photos to collect ideas for your own home.
Participating designers include Ally Coulter Designs, Campion Platt, Darrin Varden Design, Franklin Eighth, James Rixner, Mario Buatta, Scott Formby and Tony Ingrao. For a complete list of designers, visit the Holiday House NYC website. For a taste of past Holiday House events, you can also check out our gallery of the Holiday House Hamptons, which was held this past June.
Holiday House NYC will be open to the public every day, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours will be extended to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, with live music and wine tastings to accompany the event. Tickets are $35, with proceeds benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. There will also be an Opening Night Gala on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
