Rooms With a Panoramic View in This Spectacular' Noho Penthouse
The 4,200-square-foot luxury home at 445 Astor Place just hit the market for about $15 million.
This newly listed penthouse at 445 Lafayette has enough amenities and custom details (more on those in a minute) to fill a novel. What really caught our eye, though, was the fact that there are stunning views throughout the house. Just look at the floor plan: At least one wall of every room (including one of the walk-in closets) is comprised of floor-to-ceiling windows that afford panoramic views of Manhattan. We can see why the 4,200-square-foot condo appeared on the cover of Spectacular Homes of Metro New York.
So what makes this three-bedroom, 3.5-bath pad oh so spectacular? Let's start with the fact that every square foot of the sprawling apartment — the work of interior designer Kris Lajeskie — boasts some sort of design detail, from the maple wood floors to the Latvian hand-woven window treatments. The 11-foot ceilings enhance the views and the architectural columns heighten the drama. The master bedroom comes with its own morning kitchen — including a sink and wine fridge — and the master bathroom is decked out in statuary marble.
Envious yet? The Swathmey & Siegel home has only been on the market for several days. Let's see how long it takes for someone to scoop it up.
