Pink Films Music Video in Malibu Mansion
The colorful singer shot her popular "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" video in this elegant French-inspired chateau.
You might think Pink flew all the way to France to shoot her latest period video for her single, "Blow Me One Last Kiss," "Un Film De Dave Meyers," which takes place in an elegant French chateau.
Not so, mon amie. The colorful pop star didn't have to travel more than five miles from her Malibu, Calif., home to a gorgeous estate that's been seen by more than 31 million viewers on YouTube.
The chateau, pictured here, is reported to have been home to Pamela Anderson (a likely explanation for the claw-footed tub sitting in one corner of the master bedroom). The 5,200-square-foot home on a massive 125,017-foot lot overlooking the ocean is an art director's dream for print, television, film and video productions.
Pink's director made great use of the living room's grand double staircase and two six-foot cast stone fireplaces. The crew also used the estate's formal gardens and extensive backyard for the wedding scene.

Great care is always taken to make sure that no floor is scuffed, no corners are nicked, no furniture broken, but there is one eventuality filmmakers could not have possibly foreseen: the havoc the pink rain would wreck on the rolling green lawn while shooting the wedding.
The owners were surprised to see that large patches of the green grass were stained the pop singer's signature color, which eventually turned brown. Fortunately, most of the damage was erased by new growth after the first rain, and the house was ready again to host a film shoot within a few weeks.
No rose-colored glasses are necessary any longer to view this estate, which practically makes its own living via location shoots.
