Inaugural Holiday House Hamptons Kicks Off in Bridgehampton
Two-dozen designers transformed a 7,900-square-foot mansion into a showcase of dazzling interior design.
The first-ever Holiday House Hamptons is kicking off this Sunday, offering visitors a chance to gawk at the work and imagination of 24 top designers. Set in a 7,900-square-foot luxury home developed by Villadom at Bridgehampton, the Holiday House will showcase indoor and outdoor spaces that adhere to specific holiday and event themes. Ally Coulter's master suite is designed for a celebrity starlet's first Hamptons summer. Duneier Design modeled the kitchen after summer solstice. The theme behind Mabley Handler's Great Room is Memorial Day. Other designers include Donna Livingston, Design House and Richard Mishaan, with themes ranging from Arbor Day to "Every Day Is a Holiday."
The event is an offshoot of Holiday House NYC, an annual November event at which designers transform the Academy Mansion on the Upper East Side. The Hamptons version, presented by Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, will be open Thursdays through Mondays, from June 23 to July 21. Visit the website for more details. All proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
