Get lost in the sweeping panoramic ocean views from this 40th-floor penthouse at The Setai on Miami Beach. Celebrities like Madonna, Simon Cowell and Jim Carrey paid $30,000 or more per night to stay in the 7,100-square-foot residence.

Sorry Madonna, your favorite Miami penthouse is now off the market. The sale broke the record books as the most expensive condo ever purchased in South Florida. Mark Zilbert, chief executive of Zilbert International Realty, brokered the deal to an anonymous buyer for a cool $27 million.

The penthouse takes up the entire top floor of the skyscraper and features four bedrooms, six bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and a private 3,000-square-foot outdoor terrace with a hot tub. Oh, and it has an infinity-edge rooftop pool. No wonder so many stars were smitten with this place.
