Waterfront Wednesday: Tour Blog Cabin 2013!
Nestled on three acres of waterfront property on North Carolina’s stunning Crystal Coast, this circa-1892 cottage was completely reconstructed to create an inviting, Southern-style retreat. Standing 2-1/2 feet taller than the original structure, the home is placed on a sturdy masonry foundation, while its dock was rebuilt to withstand storms. Inside, the home’s color palette captures the hues of the surrounding sea, sky and sand.
We’ve picked out a few of our favorite spaces below, but be sure to check out the virtual tour to explore each and every room of this gorgeous coastal getaway. Starting July 29, you can enter twice online per day — once on DIYNetwork.com and once on HGTVRemodels.com – for your chance to win Blog Cabin 2013! Master Bathroom: Can
we say spa-ahhh? The master bathroom was designed to resemble an outdoor
shower, but its luxe materials – including glazed porcelain tiles and Ipe wood –
make it even better. Tour the Master Bathroom >>
