Rapper and song writer Missy Elliott sold her luxury condo on Williams Island in Aventura, which is located north of Miami Beach. She purchased the condo when it was brand new in 2002 for $1.3 million, then completely gutted the inside and redesigned it to fit her signature style. Twelve years later, she sold the 4,500-foot unit for $1.45 million.

Missy Elliott sold her 4,500-square-foot luxury condo unit on William's Island for $1.45 million. She purchased the home 12 years ago for $1.3 million, then completely gutted the inside and added outrageous design features like:

  • A waterfall, koi pond and giant aquariums inside the walls
  • A closet just for her sneaker collection (tore down a bathroom to install it)
  • A bed that was a replica of a Ferrari, complete with a TV that came out from the hood
Once completed, the condo was so extravagant that it was featured on the show MTV Cribs. But that was more than a decade ago, and the condo has sat pretty much unused for years. The fish tanks have dried up, the furniture looks a little dated, and there's no sign of the Ferrari bed. Take a tour for yourself:

According to Gossip Extra, high-profile Realtor Joel Matus bought the place and had to throw everything out, except for the home theater. “Everything was a little outdated, so she left it,” Matus told Gossip Extra. “I’ll confess I got a good deal on the condo, but I’m putting $300,000 into it. It was unused, and you could tell."

The real estate agent hopes to move in by Christmas. “I’m basically building the walls back up and putting back the bathroom she knocked down.”
