Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally List in Los Angeles
Just in time for the season five premiere of NBC's hit comedy Parks and Recreation, two of the show's stars are making real estate headlines. Nick Offerman, known for his role as manly, mustachioed parks director Ron Swanson, and wife Megan Mullally, who has guest starred as Ron's ex-wife Tammy, are trying to sell their Los Angeles pad for $12.65 million.
Owned By: Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally
Listed By: Rory Barish of Keller Williams Beverly Hills Realty
According to the listing, the home is located on one of the best of the "Bird Streets" -- an exclusive enclave of homes located north of the Sunset Strip. Judging by the home's expansive views of the Los Angeles skyline, we'd say that's an apt description.
After the couple purchased the property in 2003, Mullally took a hands-on approach to decorating, the actress told Elle Decor in September 2010. Working with designer Ames Ingham, she started by painting the walls bright white and refinishing the floors with an ebony stain, creating a striking contrast. Next, she layered in a mix of modern furniture, Asian antiques, bold fabrics and graphic rugs for an eclectic, sophisticated feel.
We're not sure how Ron Swanson would feel about the home's bright floral accents and subtle feminine flair, though Karen Walker -- Mullally's well-to-do character on the NBC sitcom Will & Grace -- would certainly approve. Either way, we like the look.
