Michael Jordan's Gigantic Florida Mansion is Not Quite Big Enough

It turns out 37,000 square feet is not enough space for the NBA great, his new bride and their soon-to-be-born identical twin babies. Michael Jordan filed a permit to expand his Jupiter mansion to a whopping 40,000 square feet.

The former Chicago Bulls star plans on building an addition to his home located in The Bear's Club in Jupiter, Fla. The renovation will connect the main house to a cottage in the back of his $25 million estate.

The addition of the extra 3,000 square feet will bring the total square footage to a nice round 40,000.

Jordan's mansion is believed to be South Florida's biggest single family home, according to Gossip Extra

Jordan has been trying to sell his 56,000-square-foot home just outside of Chicago. He recently re-listed the mansion for $16 million. For more info read: Still No Sale for Michael Jordan's Highland Park Mansion and check out the photos below of his home near the Windy City.
