Kristen Wiig Lists Soho Co-op for $2.6 Million
The comic actress bought the two-bedroom pad in 2009 for $1.5 million. The apartment is filled with natural light.
Comedian Kristen Wiig has decided to list her sunny Soho loft for $2.6 million, after purchasing it back in 2009 for $1.5 million. The two-bedroom co-op is a tenth-floor corner unit at 476 Broadway, located between Grand and Broome Streets. It's hardly extravagant by celebrity standards, but we can certainly see why Wiig bought the prewar home.
The open living room and kitchen is lined with six giant windows, which flood the 35' by 22' space with lots of beautiful light. The ceilings are over 11 feet high, giving the home that true loft feeling. There's no shortage of storage space in the master bedroom, which includes built-in floor-to-ceiling closets as well as a 10' x 11' walk-in closet. It also towers four to five stories above nearby buildings, affording you some nice city views. On top of it all, there's that magically low monthly maintenance of $838.
Fun background fact: Wiig bought the apartment from director Alan Taylor, who's worked on shows like Game of Thrones, Mad Men and Sex and the City. So, quite a distinguished pedigree if you're into creative talents.
