Kiefer Sutherland flipped this Greenwich Village townhouse for $17.5 million in 2012. It's now back on the market for $22 million.

When Kiefer Sutherland put his Greenwich Village townhouse on the market in 2012, he sold it within 24 hours for $17.5 million. That home is now back on the market — and with a $22 million price tag, it looks like the current owners are hoping for a little bit of Sutherland's flipping luck to wear off on them.

Sutherland originally bought the townhouse for $8.2 million back in 2008. He then hired designer Steven Gambrel to do a gut renovation, turning it into the cozy yet elegant home that we see today. The house has five bedrooms, 5.5 baths and 4,750 square feet spread across six stories. There's a roof deck, sauna and elevator, and the rooms are appointed with lovely arched doors and crown moldings. Unlike some celebrity homes, which are designed to the point of "look but don't touch," every room in this townhouse looks inviting. We credit the ambiance to the rustic wood floors and the working fireplaces, of which there are plenty.
