But it’s ABC’s new primetime drama Nashville that put this city on our radar today. With music on our mind, we found a custom-built home featuring a recording studio for the aspiring artist. The star treatment doesn't stop there, y'all – there's also a heated pool, indoor sauna and wet bar.
This hilltop abode sits on seven sprawling acres in West Meade, 10 minutes from downtown Nashville. A stone staircase ushers guests into an ornate two-story foyer that hints at the size of the house. Built in 1958 and renovated in 1999, the home rambles over 6,628 square feet.
And while it’s set in the hills of Tennessee, the home features elements inspired by the Mediterranean: stucco walls, balconies and arched windows and entryways. We love the heavy wooden doors, marble floors and wrought-iron fixtures.
