Colorful New York Condo Designed by Miles Redd

Photo by: Zillow There's not a dull square foot to be found in this colorful West Village condo designed by Miles Redd. The 3,200-square-foot home includes three bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a bold, memorable foyer.

When Mina Hochberg, FrontDoor’s New York City correspondent, featured this vivid West Village condo in her story on luxury homes in NYC, we just had to see more. Join us on a tour of this glamorous urban abode, won’t you?

The home was designed by Miles Redd, a New York-based designer known for his bold use of color, glossy finishes and revamped antiques. A formal foyer sets the tone for the entire apartment with its vibrant hues and expert mix of large and delicate patterns. The grand living room is lined with pink silk walls and red pony hair doors (yes, you read that right), while white lacquered walls unite the spacious den, dining area and custom kitchen.

But this apartment isn’t all style and no substance: There’s a Sub-Zero wine storage area for 300+ bottles in the den, a Viking range and Sub-Zero refrigerator in the kitchen, and his-and-hers walk-in closets in the master suite. The second and third bedrooms both have en-suite bathrooms and large closets, one of which could easily accommodate a home office. Not bad for Manhattan, huh?
