Actor Luke Perry is a passionate environmentalist. “I think people are more aware that they need to be conscious of what they do at home, whether it’s taking shorter showers or switching to energy-efficient lightbulbs. And switching to reusable water bottles. There are no plastic water bottles in my house.”

Perry added he’s also big on saving water, particularly rain water. “We need to do this, especially in California. It’s kind of crazy to me that the government doesn’t insist that all new construction have a rainwater system. You can save the rain, which has minimal toxins in it, and use the water with all your plants and to clean your house,” he said.
