Buy the Home Featured in ABC's 'Nashville'
If you've been singing along with ABC's new drama Nashville, now's your chance to live like your favorite fictional country music superstar: The real-life residence that stars as the home of Rayna Jaymes (played by Connie Britton) is on the market for $19.5 million.
Location: Nashville, Tenn.
Listed By: Steve Fridrich of Fridrich & Clark Realty
Located in Music City's upscale Belle Meade neighborhood, the house was used to film scenes for the first three episodes of the series; after that, the show's set decorators carefully recreated several of its rooms on a sound stage. "They duplicated every brick, even the space between the brick, the pine floor, even the furniture," said the home's current owner, Sylvia Roberts. "They even had the vase in front of my sink. It's amazing, the detail and the time that they put into making it exact."
Built in 2009, the sprawling estate sits on six acres and offers a generous 20,533 square feet of living space. The home's designer, Mark Harrison of Adkisson/Harrison, imported marbles, stones and woods from all over the world to create the rustic yet grand interiors. In an interview with The Tennessean, Roberts said the house and its decor were left almost exactly as-is for filming.
