Uber-successful Las Vegas businessman Gavin Maloof, vice chairman of Maloof Companies, is one industrious man. The former co-owner of the Sacramento Kings and The Palms Casino, he and his family (his sister, Adrienne, was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) own ZING Vodka and just launched Never Hungover, a natural supplement drink. With so many successful ventures, it’s no wonder he owns a beautiful 13,000-square-foot mansion which features a 10-car garage, a theater and an incredible pool. Read on to find out more about his luxurious Las Vegas home.

Your career sounds like you have a full plate!

We have really been busy lately! We are in our second year of building ZING Vodka as one of the premium brands in the spirits business. It is a very competitive category, but we did extremely well in year one and exceeded all of our goals. And now we are launching Never Hungover, a revolutionary natural supplement drink that is proven as a successful hangover preventative. My family loves building brands. So our work on ZING Vodka and Never Hungover has been an amazing experience, and the ceiling for where we are going with both brands is very high.

Your home is beautiful, what drew you to it?

I loved the layout as soon as I walked inside. The exterior views are spectacular, but the layout is exactly what I was looking for in a home that could be both comfortable for everyday use and as a place for entertaining.

Photo courtesy of Southern Nevada Home Tours Gavin says the theater is his favorite room in the house. “I love sitting in there and watching movies, games and shows on the big screen,” he says. “It’s so comfortable that I often fall asleep in there!”

What is your favorite room in the house?

The theater room. I love sitting in there and watching movies, games and shows on the big screen. It is so comfortable that I often fall asleep in there!

What are some favorite features in the room?

The screen is like being in a movie theater. And, of course, the individual reclining chairs are second to none for comfort. I can live in there for hours! We have even had screenings with our partners for commercials promoting our products. It can seat up to 12 people.

What are some of your must-have essentials at your home?

Televisions! You can never have enough TVs in your house. I want to be able to watch from every room. And those TVs can be great promotional and entertainment outlets when hosting big parties. I do a lot of social functions for partners, retailers, sponsors, clients and philanthropy, so presentation video is an essential. And a comfortable bedroom is always important. I need great sleep to function in the day, so a quiet, comfortable bedroom setting is very needed.

Favorite colors, textures, fabrics?

I enjoy beige tones with red accents. I also like comfortable furniture, especially leather pieces.

Where do you like to shop for home products?

Bed Bath & Beyond – they have a little bit of everything in there for your home needs.

How would you describe your style?

Tuscany is my preferred home style. But I love sports, music and cars, and so I have rooms that feature those aspects of my life. Of course, you need the practical rooms like a functional office and workout area, and I spend a lot of time in those two rooms too.

And how about your sister Adrienne’s style?

Adrienne’s house is absolutely beautiful. She has some amazing sports skating themed rooms, with two beds shaped like half pipes for the boys. There is also a huge backyard and pool. But she has three young boys, so her house is more suited to raise three rambunctious kids. Those boys are so lucky. They have a playground of fun right there at their house. Adrienne is very elegant, and her style reflects that elegance while remaining fun for the kids.

Photo courtesy of Southern Nevada Home Tours Located in Southern Highlands Golf Club, the home offers gorgeous views of both the golf course and the distant mountains. “It is such a blessing to have the ability to play golf right in your own neighborhood,” Gavin says.

You and your brother were involved with basketball. Do you play in your backyard?

No, I don’t have a basketball court at the house. My primary participation sport at this stage in my life is golf. I have a putting green on the side of the house. It is a rolling terrain AstroTurf green layout that is great for practicing those tough putts that can occur out on the course. And I live in Southern Highlands in Las Vegas, which houses one of the finest golf courses in the world. It is such a blessing to have the ability to play golf right in your own neighborhood!

Any more television appearances coming up?

We as a family are always being pitched on different reality show ideas, but we don’t have anything specific in the pipeline right now. I am sure there will be something down the road though. I have had a chance to be in a few music videos, and that is a lot of fun. In fact, the Lil Wayne “Lollipop” video was shot at my house.
