There were 2,616 housing units at an average density of 202.2/sq mi (78.1/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 98.52% White (U.S. Census), 0.15% African American (U.S. Census), 0.14% Native American (U.S. Census), 0.42% Asian (U.S. Census), 0.31% from Race (United States Census), and 0.46% from two or more races. Hispanic (U.S. Census) or Latino (U.S. Census) of any race were 0.64% of the population.
There were 2,566 households out of which 41.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.8% were Marriage living together, 6.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.1% were non-families. 16.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
