Duson is a town in Acadia Parish, Louisiana and Lafayette Parish, Louisiana and parishes in the U.S. state of Louisiana. The population was 1,672 at the 2000 United States Census. The town was named after Curley Duson.
The Lafayette Parish portion of Duson is part of the Lafayette, Louisiana Lafayette, Louisiana metropolitan area, while the Acadia Parish portion is part of the Crowley, Louisiana Micropolitan Statistical Area.
