As of the census of 2000, there were 525 people, 197 households, and 127 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 130.8/km² (339.3/mi²). There were 227 housing units at an average density of 56.5/km² (146.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 55.05% White (U.S. Census) (43.1% were Non-Hispanic White,) 17.52% African American (U.S. Census), 0.38% Native American (U.S. Census), 0.57% Asian (U.S. Census), 0.19% Pacific Islander (U.S. Census), 21.14% from Race (United States Census), and 5.14% from two or more races. Hispanic (U.S. Census) or Latino (U.S. Census) of any race were 35.05% of the population.
